Did You Know? There are almost no tourists here in Kathmandu! Surprised? There is no quarantine for tourists. More than 50% of Kathmandu people are vaccinated. All of the hotel workers, all of the climbing and trekking sherpas and all of the adults in Mount Everest National Park are vaccinated!

Now we are in Kathmandu. Can you believe there is no lockdown and everything is open, all hotels, restaurants, pubs, museums, temples, swimming pools? ALL OPEN !! Our climbing and trekking groups of men and women from around the world of all ages are enjoying wandering the streets of Thamel, the tourist district and eating the delicious food like Pizza, Steaks, Salads, Dal Bhat, Pies, Cakes, and Cappucino, and heading to the pubs for good conversation with tasty Irish coffee, beer and wine

Our first groups have already flown to Lukla, world’s most dangerous airport, and trekked up to gorgeous Namche Bazaar, the Capital of the Sherpa People. Really warm and sunny trekking weather, with no clouds and no wind. The weather is incredibly stable. November is the best weather of the year, now the storms of October are passed. One more Ama Dablam group is coming, with a few more Lobuche members and Everest basecamp trekkers, and then we will all be in the mountains together. Yahoo!!

Winter Climbs - Treks - Only a Few Spots Left: Christmas and New Year Everest Base Camp Trek with Optional January Island Trekking Peak climb.
