Climb Everest in Autumn or Spring. Whats the Difference? SPRING BUSY Season - April and May: comes after winter, so everything is cold, hard, and dry. Crevasse fields and glaciers are opened up with all cracks exposed and snow faces may be blue ice. Not much loose snow. AUTUMN QUIET Season - September and October: monsoon is ending, so more loose snow. Warmer in Sept, colder in Oct. More cloudy.
