On 24 May, 2021 I was lucky to lead our 8 member team to the summit of Everest. It was an excellent trip. We did not quarantine, no one got covid, and all went smoothly. Good News: Nepal just received 1.2 million vaccines from USA and 800,000 vaccines from China.10 million more vaccines will be given to Nepalese families in the next 3 months. How Difficult is the Trek?

Can you walk up and down gentle hills for 1-6 hours, including tea breaks and meal stops?. Trails are wide, well maintained for relaxed walking, sometimes with beautifully built stone stairways.

Do I Have To Carry A Heavy Backpack?

No You do not. Porters and Yaks carry all of your luggage. You only need a small day pack with your water bottle, camera, hat, jacket.

Will I Be Walking On Snow?

No you will not. Sometimes around basecamp there may be a tiny sprinkle of snow, but it is very rare.

Here is what Tim says about EBC Trek May 2021: I went with Summitclimb to Everest Base Camp and would recommend them to anyone wanting a safe, organized expedition in the Himalaya.
