Dec 23 - Good morning from Lobuche Village! After breakfast, our SummitClimb Christmas EBC Trek team is heading toward the iconic Everest Base Camp today. The weather is superb with crystal-clear skies, revealing spectacular Himalayan views all around. Everyone is feeling healthy, happy, and energized as we continue this unforgettable Christmas adventure in the Himalayas.

Dec 22 - Rest and Acclimatization Day at Dingboche now Heading towards to Lobuche Village - We just finished our Breakfast here in Dingboche. Weather is perfect here. Now heading towards to Lobuche Village (4940m)—another milestone on this high-altitude adventure.
Yesterday, We took a short but powerful hike to Nangkartshang Viewpoint (5,083m)—a perfect step for better acclimatization and unforgettable mountain views. The reward? Jaw-dropping Himalayan panoramas featuring: Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Many more beautiful mountains. The weather was absolutely amazing, making the experience even more magical.


Dec 19 - Our Everest Base Camp trekking team enjoyed a sunny hike from Namche Bazaar via the Kangzoma Ridge to Tengboche Monastery, with stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse. We reached Pangboche Village and relaxed at Sonam Lodge beneath Ama Dablam.
Today (20 Dec 2025 ) we enjoyed a sunny hike from Pangboche to Dingboche (4,410m). The trail offered classic high-altitude landscapes, stone-walled fields, and spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Island Peak. Everyone is healthy, strong, and thrilled to experience the stunning Khumbu Himalayas.




Dec 19 - Yesterday was a perfect rest and acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, the vibrant capital of the Sherpa people. We started early with a delicious breakfast before hiking up the steep hill above our hotel and continuing along the scenic ridge toward the Everest View Hotel. The weather was absolutely superb, rewarding us with breathtaking 360° panoramic views of the Himalayas, including the mighty Mt. Everest and the elegant Ama Dablam. A truly unforgettable Himalayan experience! Today’s plan: We continue our journey toward Pangboche (3,985 m), one of the most historic and culturally rich Sherpa villages in the Everest region.

Dec 18 - Christmas Trek News Update : Our SummitClimb Christmas Trek team walked to Namche Bazaar Yesterday. The walk was rewarding with incredible—perfect sunny weather, and a well-maintained, uncrowded trail made the journey truly enjoyable. We are staying at the beautiful Hilltop Lodge where we can see breathtaking panoramic views over Namche Bazaar and the southern mountain ranges.
We are taking a rest and acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, which is essential for a safe and successful trek. Our plan includes a short acclimatization hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m)—one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region. Dec 17 - Yesterday, our team trekked down from Lukla to Zamphute Sonam Lodge, a charming teahouse nestled just north of Phakding, beside the mighty Dudh Koshi River. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and a warm, comfortable night’s rest surrounded by the serenity of the Himalayas.
This morning, after a breakfast, we begin our journey toward Namche Bazaar—the iconic Gateway to the Himalayas and the heart of the Everest region.


Dec 16 - Christmas Trek News Update: Yesterday, our team prepared for the trek. We did last-minute shopping, checked everyone’s trekking equipment, and held a briefing meeting for the Christmas Trek.
Today, we woke up early in the morning and left the hotel at 5:00 AM. Luckily, our flight to Lukla was only one hour late, which worked out perfectly. We have now arrived in Lukla.
The weather here is perfect, though it is chilly. We are currently staying at Namaste Lodge in Lukla. After breakfast, our plan is to walk to the next camp called Phakding.

Dec 27 - We were feeling well and woke up early and walked up to Everest base camp which lies atop the Khumbu glacier at 5,300 metres /17,400feet. There is a good trail on rocks and scee all the way to base camp, where you will see empty Everest base camp as this is not a time for Everest Climb. Everest base camp is all ours, nobody is there. Then we will return to GorakShep for another warm night, lots of tea, and a delicious meal. With an early start we trek to the top of Kala Patar (5,545metres/18,200 feet) to see the breathtaking views of Everest. Here is where Shiptonstood in 1952, to plan the successful ascent of Everest. After climbing to the top of Kala Patar, we shall walk down to Gorak Shep and have a relaxing lunch, followed by a short walk down to Lobuche and camp. We now walk back down the valley, retracing our steps to Pheriche, and enjoy the final stunning views of the stunning Everest massif.



Dec 26 - What more can you ask ? Fantastic view of The Everest. The dream comes true. The weather was perfect.


Dec 25 - Walk to the village Lobuche, 4,930 meters/16,175 feet. The weather is good. We are going fine here.





Dec 24 - Merry Christmas from Dingboche - Walk along to the village of Dingboche, 4,410 meters / 14,469 feet.

Dec 23 - We trekked from Namche Bazaar to reach our next camp which is called Pangboche, which is at 3,985 meters / 13,074 foot. It was a really wonderful view of Everest, Lhotse shar and Ama Dablam. Weather was superb. We are having a really good time here.




Dec 21 - Feels like Spring Break around here, lots of warm sun. Rest, acclimate, and relax in Namche Bazaar.




Dec 19 - Walk to Namche Bazaar 3,440 meters/11,286 feet. The weather looks good here.


Dec 18 - Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla 2,840 meters/9,318 feet. Trek to Phakding, where we stay at a teahouse, 2650 meters/8,694 feet. The weather is perfect.




Our Christmas New Year Trek was a festive success. Thanks to everyone who joined and their family, friends and colleagues for supporting the team.
We spent Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve on trek, and went all of the way to Everest Base Camp. Well done team. Congratulations, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!!!

27 Dec - Today is a short day up the Khumbu glacier takes us to the rocky outpost of Gorak Shep, with three cozy tea houses at 5,160 metres/16,900 feet. Then walk up to Everest basecamp, which lies a top the Khumbu glacier at 5,300 metres/17,400 feet. Weather was not really good. It was foggy when we reached there. But we continue walking to Everest Basecamp which was really wonderful to be there. Weather getting better now.


26 Dec - Today we walk along to the village Lobuche, 4,930 metres/16,200 feet. Weather is good till today. We all are fine here. Tomorrow we are planning to go at GorekShep, once we reach there we are planning to go Everest Basecamp and Kalapather.

24 Dec - Merry Christmas from our team. We all are ok here in Dingboche. 4,317 meters / 14,163 feet . Weather wise it's bit snowing. Apart from it all is well.

23 Dec - Today we trek to Pangboche, 3,985 meters / 13,074 foot. Amazing view of Moutn Ama Dablam.
22 Dec - Today rest day at Namche Bazaar. Beautiful weather beautiful day.


21 Dec - Today we walk to Namche Bazaar 3,440 meters/11,286 feet. All is well here.

20 Dec - Today our Christmas and Island Peak group flew to Lukla. Every thing arrive good bags and expedition goods. Now we are in Phakding enjoying our lunch.

19 Dec - Christas and New year trek plus optional Island Peak team went for Kathmandu Valley sightseeing. Tomorrow early morning fly to Lukla.
18 Dec - Christmas and New year trek team arrive Kathmandu. All is well.

Our team in previous trip had a lovely Christmas Holiday walking to Everest Basecamp. The weather was clear and good. They brought in the New Year with an optional climb up Island Peak, in just one day!
