Mount Baruntse in October: This peak was first climbed in 1954 by Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow, who were part of a New Zealand expedition. Their successful ascent highlighted Baruntse as a very fun snow climb of a 7000 metre / 23,000 foot high peak in a remote location near Everest. Mount Baruntse means Peak of Barun, named after the Barun Valley in eastern Nepal, where the God Barun is the Hindu version of Neptune, God of the Waters.

Ama Dablam in November : The first ascent was made in 1961 by an American-New Zealand team led by Barry Bishop. They proved Ama Dablam was climbable and Sir Edmund Hillary took some of the credit, paving the way for Ama Dablam to become one of the most sought-after climbing experiences in the world on a moderately technical but very climbable peak. Not just another snow hike, Ama Dablam means Mother's Necklace. The mountain is named for its shape resembling a mother embracing her children and wearing a traditional Sherpa necklace.
