HOW TO SUMMIT EVEREST WITHOUT THE CROWDS? (Video Below) For 3 years we consistently achieved high level summit success by carefully studying how to avoid traffic jams on Everest. For example, in 2023 we were the only ones on the summit that day. What’s the secret? First, lets take a close look at who is in that crowd. In 2023, 500 foreigners and 700 Sherpas tried the summit, with 250 foreigners and 350 Sherpas succeeding. Thus the “crowds” we see on Everest are more than half Sherpa. Second, lets look at why all of the teams choose to climb on the same day, in what appears to be a huge traffic-jam. Sherpas are the majority group on Everest, with some teams nowadays having more than 50 Sherpas. They enjoy climbing together with their relatives and friends together in a large festive group. Going to the summit is a big social event for these teams. Its kind of like a whole village of cousins and brothers climbing together on one day. Since 80% OF EVEREST EXPEDITIONS ARE RUN BY SHERPAS AND HAVE NO WESTERN LEADER, the foreigners simply tag along with their Sherpas. Our strategy? We find out exactly what day all of the teams are going to the top and then we go the day after = no traffic jams! Works Every Time!
