The Team Summited! Good Job Everyone!!!!!
Ama Dablam Team had incredible success. Our Sherpas have removed 4 large sacks of rubbish. Now our British and American team have returned from the mountain to prepare all equipment for 2023 big season on Everest Summit, Camp 3 Training, and EBC trek.
Nov 20 - All of team are now back in Basecamp enjoying tea and relaxing by the stove.
Nov 20 - With team making their way down from C2 today, team are starting their summit push. They will travel from Basecamp this morning to Camp 1 and then tomorrow they’ll continue to camp 2, ready for a summit push starting on the night of the 21st Nov into 22nd. We wish them the best of luck in their quest for the summit, and look forward to seeing them in a few days.
Nov 19 - All of our Team members and Sherpas are safely down to Camp 2. Tomorrow they will continue their descent from Camp 2, all the way to basecamp.
Nov 19 - SummitClimb AmaDablam - the team are on the summit of Ama Dablam. Big congratulations to everyone on the summit!!! Special thanks to Mark Mcinerney and Paul Spackman and Ben Lieber and all of the Sherpas and all members and their family, friends and colleagues and all who helped out!

Nov 18 - Ama Dablam Team is now positioned at Camp 2 and getting ready for their summit push tonight. We wish them the best of luck in their attempt. Team is resting in basecamp and keeping an eye on the weather. Everyone is healthy and, and well placed to achieve their objectives.
Nov 17 - SummitClimb is on the mountain and moving up! Team arrived today in great weather and members are looking strong. 5 members 3 sherpa and going camp 2 tomorrow. Also at Camp 1 are Guides Tenji & Ben enjoying some quality time together and looking to summit on November 19. SummitClimb has been spoiled by 5 sunsets and all are enjoying the view!
Nov 16 - On this beautiful day here at Ama Dablam basecamp we have said our goodbyes to the Lobouche / Amadablam team. They have set off on their hike back to Lukla for their flight to Kathmandu, full of pride in what they’ve achieved as individuals and as a team. Without doubt, lifelong friendships have been made out here in these beautiful mountains. The remainder of the Ama Dablam team continue their acclimatisation and preparation for the upcoming summit pushes over the next week or so. We are taking time to have hot showers, do some laundry, eat some delicious food provided by our hosts at Ama Dablam Basecamp Lodge and relax in the sun. All whilst watching the weather and planning our summit windows. Morale is high and the teams are healthy and strong. We are in a great position to get the top, so fingers crossed for good weather.
Nov 14 - After a long and lovely four days on Ama Dablam team are back and safe in basecamp. The Lobuche/Ama Dablam team are now reflecting on an awesome summit of Lobouche Peak and an incredible journey up Ama Dablam. We wish our other teams currently on the mountain good luck as they progress through their acclimatisation rotations!!
Nov 14 - The Team are looking forward to a rest day today after a small acclimation rotation to camp 1, spirits are high and everyone is healthy.
Nov 13 - Everybody is feeling pretty good in team. Paul is up on the main with team and they have just moved up to camp 2 and will stay there for the night and get a bit of rest and go for the summit tonight hopefully all goes well. The Team, we have just finished our first rotation and we are back down at the basecamp lodge which is absolutely amazing. Everybody is feeling pretty good and pretty strong. I am with The Pemberton family and Yann. The Team have just gone up to camp 1 today and then will come down for a rest day tomorrow. So far everyone else on the mountain is feeling pretty good and confident and the team are eager to go for the second rotation. People are very excited after the little bit of scrambling up to camp 1. The internet has been a bit hit and miss. Jason and Mike have gone down. They got a helicopter out, the Sherpas took their gear from advanced base camp. Ben arrived yesterday and will join team 3 and we are working to get his hear up the mountain now too. Hope all is well. Namaste.
12 Nov - TEAM A on Ama Dablam is now in Camp 1 ready to go Camp 2 and day after we are ready to summit push . We will keep updating you . All members are feeling well and looking forward to the summit soon. The Team are at ABC now they will come up to camp 1 today and go back to Basecamp for rest. TEAM C are at the basecamp . Today they will come upto ABC for rotation. Weather here is beautiful and we can see all the Himalayas, which is a great experience.
Nov 11 - Our team (AmaDablam + Lobuche) moves to camp 1. We will stay here for another night before going to camp 2. The team is at ABC for acclimatization . All good here. Weather is perfect. From camp 1 you can see the impressive camp 2, from which we will launch or summit push on the 15th or 16th for 1st group. However, what is more stunning is the view of the horizon. Above the clouds, the only challenge to this view comes from mountains that would dwarf anything in Europe or North America. There is nothing quite like it, with the exception of having such a moment on the summit of a beautiful peak like Ama Dablam.
Nov 10 – Yesterday we checked equipment and fixed rope training day on small cliffs near base camp. Today group will walk to advanced basecamp, 5,350 metres (17,552 feet). Easy walking on paths. Whereas AmaDablam + Lobuche team members will hike to camp 1, 5,700 metres (18,701 feet). A bit of rockhopping in a boulder field, followed by short easy low angle scramble to C1.
Nov 8 - What a beautiful setting we had today for our Puja Ceremony here at Ama Dablam basecamp. The local Lama came to bless us and our climbing equipment in the traditional way before a big climb. We gave offerings to the mountains and asked for safe passage for all on our expedition. We have one more day of rest and training before Team One head up the mountain. Wish us luck
Nov 7 - The Summit Climb / Summit Trek teams all came together in Pangboche last night to enjoy dinner and to be blessed by the Lama this morning. We will all now go our separate ways. Seven members to Everest Basecamp, three to Island Peak and the rest of us will climb to Ama Dablam Basecamp. Good luck to everyone in their own adventures.
Nov 06 - After a long hike to Lobouche Peak high camp, a 02:30hrs start and an 800m climb over rock, snow and ice ……. We all summited. Six members and three Sherpas made it to the summit of Lobouche Peak and back down safely. We are now relaxing and eating in the village of Pheriche.
Nov 03 - Ramechhap airport/ Zamfute After some breakfast we jumped on the bus 5:40am. The sun is coming up, with some great views from down in the valley. We load the mini buses up and head down to (Ramechchap Airport) which is only a few minutes away. We had a beautiful flight to Lukla airport About 30 minute, beautiful Blue skies. After arriving we took a short walk to Namaste Lodge. Some of the bags were on a different flight so while we waited we enjoyed Tea, a second breakfast. We also met up with an another team member and some more of our Sherpa. Once we had all the bags and sleeping mats we start making our way to Zamfute, Sonam guest house which is around 2,700m a nice easy going trek with beautiful views The Yaks arrive with our bags, one jumped over the wall to try and eat grass and vegetables and is chased down by one of our Sherpa! With bellies full of tasty food and tea the temperature starts to drop. Everyone is in high spirits after a great day on the trails and we look forward to tomorrow
Nov 3 - Team AmaDablam - Team arrive in Lukla today. All bags arrived good in Lukla. Weather is good. Now we are in Phaking and resting.
Nov 3 - It’s been another incredible hiking day for the Lobouche/ Ama Dablam team. We’ve arrived in Dzongla after passing under the imposing north faces of Tobouche and Cholatse, with Ama Dablam and Lobouche front on rear of our hike throughout. At 4800m, we are feeling the altitude but acclimatising well and feel ready to head to Lobouche High Camp tomorrow.
Nov 2 - Our @summitclimb_summittrek Lobouche/Ama Dablam team is making great progress and acclimatising well since leaving Namche Bazaar. The weather has been fantastic and the views to die for. One final coffee in Dingboche before we hit the trail again and make our way to Dzongla to get ready for our ascent of Lobouche Peak.
Nov 1 - It was a hot and dry but beautiful day for the Lobouche / Amadablam team today. We started with a blessing from the Lama in Pangboche to wish us a safe and successful expedition. We took the opportunity to find out more about this 600 year old monastery with a short tour from a local monk and our Sherpa, Lakpa Dawa. From Pangboche we hiked to the small village of Dingboche where we will rest and acclimatise for a few days at the foot of Ama Dablam. The team are acclimatising well and feeling strong. Once again the views were fantastic, we are blessed to be surrounded by such majestic mountains
Oct 31 - Another wonderful day on the trails for the Lobouche / Ama Dablam team today. A longer day from Namche Bazaar to Pangboche, via the beautiful monastery at Tengboche. We watched the monks practicing their dancing and chanting after we had eaten a delicious Dal bhat We are now relaxing at Sonam Lodge with wonderful sunset views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam.
Oct 30 - As the sun sets over Namche Bazaar, the Lobouche/Ama Dablam team reflect on a good day of acclimatisation and rest. We took the opportunity to hike to Everest View hotel to get our first glimpses of our final objective, Ama Dablam. On the way we stopped at the Sagarmatha Next experience centre which invites trekkers, mountaineers, artists, and locals to learn & create art with waste from the Himalayas. We even got to experience the summit ridge of Everest through virtual reality We’ve also had some time to stroll around the streets of this Sherpa capital city, eat some pizza and enjoy the highest Irish bar in the world. Tomorrow we set of for Pangboche, where we trek under the beautiful Ama Dablam.
Oct 29 - The Lobouche/Ama Dablam team reached Namche Bazaar today after a wonderful hike from Phakding. We were lucky enough to see a rare sighting of Himalayan Tahr, an endangered mountain goat that is protected here in the Sagarmatha National Park. We passed under waterfalls, crossed beautiful suspension bridges and drank tea with our friendly Sherpas, all under the watchful eye of Mnt Thamserku (6623m). Now it’s time to rest and acclimatise her in Namche for a few days at 3440m. Morale is high and we feel strong
Oct 28 - The Summit Climb Lobouche / Ama Dablam team have arrived in Lukla safely, greeted by beautiful weather. We will begin our trek after some lemon/ginger tea and some lunch at Namaste Lodge.
