We had a succesful and beautiful Mera Peak and Baruntse Expedition this year. Our team was very friendly and our Sherpas extra strong. The weather was especially good this year, with light winds and no snowfall after the first day of the expedition, when we landed in Lukla on 14 October. We did not see many other groups, so it was really beautiful and peaceful to explore the two big peaks, Mera and Baruntse, and to trek across those three really high passes, Chetra, Mera, and AmphuLabtsa. For the 6th year in a row, we were the 1st team to climb Baruntse. It is becoming a tradition!

After all of that remote high altitude trekking, it was a joy to pop out in the gorgeous and warm Khumbu Valley, at the base of Everest, and trek for a few days in golden sunshine, before flying back to Kathmandu from Lukla.  If you need further info about our next expeditions to Mera Peak and Baruntse, we are already organising them at www.BaruntseClimb.com and www.MeraPeakClimb.com . Welcome to our team!
