Today, our team successfully completed rope training alongside our incredible Sherpa team under snowy mountain conditions. The session was both challenging and rewarding, giving us the opportunity to sharpen our climbing skills and strengthen our coordination as a team.

8 May - Today we arrived at the beautiful Ama Dablam Base Camp after hiking from Pangboche. The trail was filled with incredible mountain scenery, and reaching base camp felt truly rewarding. Along the way and here at camp, we also met another team member, which made the day even more fun and exciting for everyone.
The weather today has been very mixed. The morning started off quite foggy, hiding the surrounding peaks from view. Later, the clouds opened for a short while, giving us some clearer moments before the fog rolled back into base camp once again. Life in the mountains is always changing, and the weather keeps us guessing every day.
Right now, we are relaxing inside our warm dining tent, enjoying some delicious food together. After a long hike, a warm meal and good company make all the difference.
Today was also a bittersweet day for the team. One of our members, Terry, left the expedition after successfully summiting Lobuche Peak. We already miss him here at camp, but we are proud of his achievement and wish him safe travels ahead.
Thank you for following our adventure in the Himalayas. Stay tuned for more updates tomorrow from base camp!

7 May - We did it! Today, the entire Team Lobuche + Ama Dablam pulled into Pangboche after a successful and genuinely fun summit of Lobuche Peak. The climb was exhilarating, and the energy is high as we shift our focus to the next big challenge.
Tomorrow’s plan: We head to Ama Dablam Basecamp, where the rest of our Ama Dablam team is already waiting for us. I can already tell – that reunion is going to be something special.
The weather, though? Classic Himalayan unpredictability. Today has been a real mixed bag. The morning started with heavy snowfall, which seriously cut down visibility. But, as the day wore on, the skies began to clear. Now we’re being treated to some of the most incredible mountain views you can imagine. Moments like this make it all worth it.
Right now, as I’m writing this blog, please take a moment to check out the stunning Ama Dablam in the photo below. Absolutely breathtaking.
Stay tuned as we continue pushing toward Ama Dablam. Next stop: Basecamp.

The expedition team for Lobuche and Ama Dablam reached Namche Bazaar
The team took a rest day on April 29 at Namche Bazaar. During this time, the weather was a bit foggy with some light rain, which is slightly unusual for this season but did not affect the team’s routine.
After the rest day, the team left Namche Bazaar and has now arrived at Pangboche. They are currently resting, enjoying hot drinks, and spending time together in good spirits.
Along the trail, the team enjoyed beautiful views of blooming rhododendrons, adding vibrant color to the journey.
