I hope you enjoyed 2013 and had a good holiday. How is 2014 going for you?
My name is Dan Mazur, writing to you from the rocky windswept shores of the Pacific ocean. Rain and wind are swirling down here, rattling windows as white capped waves whip across the bay. Up in the mountains, a massive accumulation of new snow is silently falling on a hard packed layer. Look out for Avalanches.
I am a Mount Everest expedition climb and trek leader for SummitClimb and SummitTrek. We had 100% success during 2013. Our international teams of men and women of all ages succeeded in climbing to the summit of Everest from both Nepal and Tibet and other peaks. Our friendly trekking groups walked to the beautiful basecamp. I am involved in volunteer projects with the Mount Everest Foundation for Sustainable Development, giving back to local people and environments. We are celebrating our team's success in 2013 while planning exciting adventures for 2014. Back to Top

BREAKING 2014 NEWS and FOND MEMORIES OF 2013
Right now, our Aconcagua expeditions are having good luck on the famous Seven-Summit. 8 of 11 members attained the summit last week and our February group is climbing upon the mountain now. The 1st Annual Christmas - New Year Trek was beyond successful. The team celebrated Christmas in the capital of the Sherpa people, Namche Bazar, and brought in the New Year after a fine walk to Everest Base Camp. The trip was so fruitful, that several people are now reserving their spots for the 2014/2015 Christmas New Year Trek. Why dont you join them? www.ChristmasNewYearTrekNews.com . We just returned from a speaking tour in aid of the www.SherpaClimbingSchool.org , where we met brilliant audiences, hosts and also some very kind equipment & clothing donors. Back to Top
***2013 NEWS - A SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL YEAR: I was lucky to lead our fun & successful team of men and women of all ages to the summit of Everest in 2 groups, one fast and one slow for a 100% success rate. In fact, our Tibet side expedition met our Nepal side expedition on the summit on 23 May; a rare spot to bump into someone you know! Our Everest training climb members reached camp 3 on the Nepal side & North Col on the Tibet side. Our Everest basecamp treks were enjoyable with fine views. The Mount Elbrus group enjoyed this classic 7-Summit. We had an exhilarating Island Peak expedition and Everest View Glacier School. Our Cho Oyu climb achieved the summit. The Mera Peak group worked together well to achieve success and our Baruntse expedition was the first team to open the route in 2013. Our Ama Dablam members reached the summit. Thus, our 2013 climbs, treks, and expeditions achieved a 100% successful 2013. Thanks to the leaders, Sherpas, members, families, colleagues, sponsors, and friends who made this possible.Jangbu Sherpa climbing a snowy ridge on the way to camp 2. Photo Sarabjit Bhooee. One of our members near the waterfall at the trailhead to Mt. Kenya. Photo One of our members near the waterfall at the trailhead to Mt. Kenya.
Below is a list of our climbs, expeditions, treks, walks, and service treks. I will be able to join you on many of these. Also, we have the best British, European, and American leaders, along with accomplished friendly expert Sherpas. Our trips include free hotels, free Sherpas, free oxygen, a single tent for every member in basecamp, delicious food and well maintained expedition equipment, ropes, walkie talkie radios, tents and stoves. For those of you who enjoy a more civilized lifestyle, we offer heated and carpeted dining tents with comfortable tables and chairs, inexpensive international calls, free no-charge internet access and dvd mp3 movie player in basecamp on most of our trips.
Regarding the quality of the services, sherpas, staff, equipment, food, accomodation and hotels on offer, I have worked for 6 different companies during my career as a high altitude leader, and in my opinion, SummitClimb and SummitTrek offer some of the best values for the price. They do not cut any corners, and always go the extra distance to provide excellent service and quality.
PLEASE CONTACT ME NOW SO THAT I MAY ASSIST YOU WITH RESERVING YOUR SPOT IN OUR TEAMS, WHICH ARE SURE TO BE FULLY BOOKED VERY SOON. ALSO, I AM HERE TO CONSULT WITH YOU ON EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, EQUIPMENT, BOOKING YOUR FLIGHTS, INSURANCE, VISAS, PLUS ANY AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT MIGHT COME TO MIND. Back to Top
