ENTHUSIASTIC GREETINGS TO ALL CLIMBERS, WALKERS, AND TREKKERS!
How are you doing this June? What mountain plans do you have for the next 6 months or year? My name is Dan Mazur and for over 10 years I have been working for two well-organised and affordable companies called SummitClimb and SummitTrek.
I invite you and your friends to join me and a fun group of men and women of all ages. Welcome to our team! Please read this newsletter to picture yourself climbing, trekking or walking on one of our planet’s stunningly massive high peaks, for a rare experience and the finest views by mountaineers, trekkers, and nature enthusiasts alike. Beginning today, during this second half of 2013 we are planning trips to Mt. Elbrus, Cho Oyu, Shishapangma, Ama Dablam, Baruntse, Mera Peak, Island Peak as well as other fun treks and training climbs across Nepal, Tibet, China, Africa, and Argentina.
Before I get ahead of myself...
I just returned 8 days ago from leading our most successful ever Himalayan climbing and walking season, with 100% of my Everest team of men and women of all ages reaching the summit. Nice work everyone! We divided into two groups, with the "fast group" going first with some super strong and friendly Sherpas, then me going second with the "slower team". This year all of us were blessed with good weather on Everest summit climbs, walks, treks, glacier schools, and climbs of "smaller" peaks.
In honour of this year's successful and safe season, we congratulate and thank all of our team members, Sherpas, staff, as well as their families, colleagues and friends.
A chance meeting on the summit and an amazing coincidence. SummitClimb's teams from both North (Tibet) and South (Nepal). Mingma Sherpa Photo. Summit of Everest by Adam Dixon. Photo Adam
PLEASE READ DOWN TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HOW OUR SEASON WENT, AND OUR PLANS FOR UPCOMING TRIPS. THANK YOU. Back to Top
Before we get started, I wanted to mention that during April and May, a concerned group of volunteers from around the world have been working with the new www.SherpaTrainingSchool.org and brought 6 new apprentice Sherpas from low income remote regions of Nepal to the high mountains, where they learned important skills, communication, and were able to try out the necessary mountain climbing equipment. These Sherpas need crampons, ice axes, harnesses, climbing gear, boots, helmets, down jackets, down trousers, and high altitude mittens and gloves. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE WHO COULD DONATE THESE, WE ARE ABLE TO ARRANGE FREE SHIPPING TO NEPAL. Also, please get involved and join our next Sherpa Training Climb this November.
THANKS FOR TELLING ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO DO.

Please "welcome me back to the office" (lol), and help me escape to the mountains again :) by joining us for the 7 Summits and another Himalayan season during July, August, September, October and November as well is in 2014! Back to Top
