Hello , I hope you are well and enjoying 2009. In case you or any of your mates were planning to join our spring 2009 Himalayan trekking peaks and trekking, the applications are due now according to the following:

Slightly above ABC, one of our Everest climbing expedition members is heading up to ascend the North Col, where camp 1 is located at 7000 metres/23,000 feet (Tunc Findik).

We request the following materials from you now in order to place you on the permit:

1. completed application (4 pages);

2. passport photocopy/scan;

3. proof of insurance;

4. 10% refundable deposit

5. flight information with kathmandu arrival time, date, airline, flight number.

Mount Everest. In May of 2008, we put 14 members on the summit with 14 sherpas. We have very strong and experienced western leaders with some of the most helpful and accomplished sherpas you will ever meet. Our equipment is superb and the meals are delicious. I was thinking you should join me in 2009 in october for our Mera Peak trek and www.BaruntseClimb.com . It’s a slow and careful acclimatising sort of trip, with the long trek into mera peak (sorry that site is not up yet, but I hope that it soon will be), then the careful climb of 6500 metre /  21,000 foot mera peak, which has perhaps the finest of any views of the Everest Massif and surrounding peaks, then return to lower elevations for resting, then across the gorgeous Hingku valley to 7,200 metre / 23,000 foot high Baruntse for an attempt on such a beatiful mountain in a stunning location with outstanding views of the South Face of Lhotse and a rare up-close look at Makalu. I will be leading this expedition and I would encourage you to join me.
