Kurt Blair is a 30 year old financial planner from Durango. He summitted Ama Dablam with us in October, 2005. Ama Dablam is known as Asia's most famous rock-ice-snow climb "easy technical". His email is: kblair@sugf.com

Elizabeth
Carr, age 36, Washington State. Liz is a photographer, commercial
diver, and environmental activist. Liz and DanieI have known each other since
1981, when they attended the University of Montana together. Recently, Liz
joined SummitClimb.com for a trek to Everest basecamp. She has also participated
in climbs of 7,000 metre Nojintangla (Tibet), and 7,500 metre Mustagata (China).

Scott and Dan first met while climbing K2 in 1993. Since then they have climbed

Sinclair, Age 63, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Mike is a heart surgeon, and he and
Daniel climbed on a new route on Gasherbrum II (located near K2) in 1998. Mike

Clint Rogers, Age 28, Berkeley, California, and Kathmandu, Nepal. Clint is a former software executive and currently a PhD student of Geography at Berkeley. He is studying Nepalese culture, lives part of each year in Nepal, and speaks fluent Nepalese. Clint and Daniel met in 1998, when they climbed Mustagh Ata together. Since then, they have kept in touch in Kathmandu. Clint does not currently have email because he is doing post doctoral research in Manang. Hopefully he will have email soon.

film-maker. He and Daniel first met when they summited Ama Dablam in 2002. Tom

Daniel
Ferrer, Age 42, Michigan, Dan is a university Librarian and philosophy scholar.
He and Daniel Mazur have never met in person, but the two Dans have been working
together extensively on various mountain research projects. Dan Ferrer is an
excellent communicator, an avid scholar of Himalayan climbing, and has been
extremely helpful in helping us to research Tibetan, Nepalese, and Pakistani

Schlossman, Age 39, London, England (originally Chicago). Marc is a professional
photographer, and Marc and Daniel have been enjoying wilderness and mountain
adventures together since 1971. In 1995, they trekked to Makalu basecamp

John Vavruska, age 55, Santa Fe New Mexico. John has been to several of Daniel's slideshows, where they met.
