We woke up early this morning, packing bags and went to the Domestic Airport of Kathmandu to fly to Lukla. After a bit of a wait we flew to Lukla which is always exciting. We landed in the Lukla airport at 2840 metre/9300 feet. The Lukla air hit us with all of its fresh mountain crispness as we got off the plane. We collected our baggage and went to a tea house where we had some tasty food. We then walked up to our next camp, which is called Phakding at 2650 metres/8,700 feet. All members enjoyed the hike and are excited to head to the village of Namche Bazaar tomorrow. Expedition Leader Lakpa Gelbu Sherpa.
