Yangjie is 26 and from Tara Koshi in the Khmbu Valley. She went to high school at the famous Hillary School in Chauri Kharka. Her father is the famous climbing sherpa and sirdar Pasang Temba. Yangjie grew up in a climbing family and always heard stories of daily adventures of climbing the high peaks even as a toddler. She enjoys meeting new people and helping them discover the Khumbu Valley she calls home. Yangjie speaks fluent English, Sherpa and Nepali.
